ABOUT
La Colectiva de Mujeres and the San Francisco Day Labor Program, two immigrant worker-led coops located in the heart of the Mission District, join forces with the California Domestic Worker Coalition and Dance Mission Theater to present a powerful theatrical story about worker dignity, homecare, Ecofeminism, and our role in environmental justice.
Using popular education, we investigate the parallels and intersections between the violence against women and working class communities, and the violence against nature perpetuated by the harmful practices of capitalist patriarchy. We propose new ways of living in harmony with our bodies, our immigrant communities, and the Earth through a deep internal transformation that asks us to redefine what is sacred and protect the relationships with our own bodies and with the Earth.
